Revegetating our land
Over almost 20 years we have been steadily planting areas of the farm back to indigenous vegetation. In 2015 we made a major commitment with the transfer of over 4 hectares from dry weedy pasture to indigenous Barrabool Hills forest. This work has resulted in a massive increase in wildlife across the property; including birds, kangaroos, reptiles and wallabies.
Deakin TAFE students use the property each year as part of their environmental management course and are monitoring growth in the revegetation paddocks.
