Welcome to Barwon Ridge
At Barwon Ridge we produce award winning Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Marsanne, Sparkling Chardonnay/Pinot Noir, Cabernet/Shiraz, Rosé and fortified Shiraz in the beautiful Barrabool Hills.
We also produce wine vinegars and other farm produce. Cheese and duck rillette tasting plates are available.
Our vineyard was planted in 1999 and all of our produce is vegan.
We are approximately 1 hour south-west of Melbourne and just west of the Geelong Ring Road (take the Fyansford or Ceres turnoffs). Barwon Ridge is a great place to visit on the way down the Great Ocean Road and Bellarine Peninsula.

Ongoing history of winemaking in the Barrabool Hills
The Barrabool Hills has a history of grape growing stretching back to 1841 when Fredrick Brequet and David Pettavel planted the first vineyard at Pollocksford. Barwon Ridge is part of the re-emergence of fine winemaking in the Barrabool Hills.
