2023 Chardonnay, Geelong, Victoria
A rich and fresh Chardonnay. The grapes were whole bunch pressed and then barrel fermented in French oak using indigenous yeasts.
Whole bunch pressed, barrel fermented with indigenous yeast in French oak barrels. This wine has ripe fruit flavours, fresh acidity and a long finish. Although the wine spent its full life in oak this provides a background note of complexity rather than dominating the wine.

Planted in 1999 on limestone/sandy loam in the Barrabool Hills, Geelong.
