An exceptional Shiraz that was co-fermented with Marsanne skins. Selected barrels were blended to produce a richly complex wine with long staying power.
Barwon Ridge's first Reserve wine. This exceptional Shiraz from 2018 was co-fermented with Marsanne skins to produce a richly complex wine with long staying power. The Marsanne added fine white wine tannins to the wine, together with aromatics. Just two barrels of the 2018 vintage were selected as worthy to be classified as Reserve. These barrels were blended and then one barrel only was selected for the reserve wine and was given extended time in oak prior to bottling.
